The Haitian law stipulates that a candidate must receive 50% plus one vote to win the elections.
According to the rain of candidates, political parties, and divided popularities among the highest bidders, some people predict that no candidate is popular enough to sway all Haitians to vote for him or her.
To avoid a possible run-off, political parties should team up together to send one and only one candidate

Haiti 2020 Scholarship seeks to raise $5,000 by October 2010 to provide scholarships to 25 Haitians students. To receive a Haiti 2020 Scholarship, the student must be 1) attending an humanitarian class (last four years of secondary/high school), 2) must have a good academic performance. Scholasrhips will be provided based on performances rather than based on parents’ financial means.
